Red Night Light

Why go for a red night light?

The dim red colour does not affect our night vision in the way that regular lights do. This is especially helpful for parents if you have to see to your baby or child in the night as you can see what you are doing without interfering with your vision and your sleep.

White light and blue light (which is the term used for the light from screens as well as daylight), actually stimulate us to stay awake and suppress our brain’s ability to produce the sleepy hormones.

Young children who are fearful of complete darkness will take a lot of comfort from being able to see around the room and know what is and is not there.

A dim red night light is the ideal comfort light without disrupting a little one’s sleep.
