My name is Miriam and I was completely lost trying to figure out how to get my baby to sleep. Every time I put her down she cried, then when some miraculous combination of singing, bouncing and acrobatics finally got her to sleep, she would wake up constantly and I couldn’t get out of the room. Every bedtime took hours, naps were all over the place and everyone was at breaking point. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing or how this could go on. The obsessing and stressing only added to the heartbreak and I felt like a failure.
