Hi I’m Nikki , mum of two and I am a certified infant and child sleep consultant and this is a message to all sleep deprived parent, carers.

When I became a parent , I had no idea what I was doing. My first was born early by emergency c -section and we were thrown into an early arrival, with major surgery chucked in for good measure. I believe I experienced post natal depression but managed to plod on through ( mostly in tears ) with the support of my husband and family.

We had attended ante natal classes and thought we had done our background prep , but boy were we wrong.

So no one told me about the sleep deprivation, and how this would affect my mental and physical health. This was tough. Out little one only slept for 30-40 mins day and night for what seemed eternity. We could only get him to sleep in a pushchair with meant hours plodding the streets. I wish I’d known what I know now, and that it doesn’t have to be like that. I returned to work 9 months later but scrambled through most days in a sleepy haze due to lack of quality sleep.Sleep deprivation is like a form of torture and most parents think they perhaps cannot do anything to rectify this when your new baby arrives , but you can.

I’m a health care professional , and am used to coaching clients in my professional life ,but I decided I wanted to learn new skills and help other tired families and provide support to get them the sleep your deserve.I can give you the guidance confidence and knowledge to have a sleeping child and an overall happier family.

This will be done by creating gentle and bespoke sleep solutions tailored to you and your baby/child’s personality via a thorough assessment.
