Hello all, my name is Heidi and I am a Certified Sleep Consultant. Ever since I had sleep issues with my little boy Harry I reached out for professional help with Lucy Shrimpton, and our whole lives changed. Now I’ve been given this fantastic opportunity I grabbed it with both hands and I want to support as many families as I can as it’s something I feel so passionate about. Self settling to sleep is a learnt skill and not all parents know this – I certainly didn’t know and no-one else did around me and I have 3 siblings including twins!!! Learning to self settle is a learnt skill and it is something that we start on today!
I’m extremely personable and in no way judgemental. I’m an open book and can tell you first hand I have been there myself dreading bedtime, but know that it doesn’t have to be this way and you can enjoy those precious months of your maternity leave with a little one that self settles and all the tools there ready for the next milestones.
I am on a mission for parents to open up about sleepless nights, but to also know they have solutions out there us! We can support you every step of the way. That’s the difference. When I had Lucy it’s different from listening to advice off experienced parents, when you’re on your own at 2am with a child that will not sleep you feel so isolated and I’m here to change all that. We have a fantastic team.
I live near the beautiful Lake District and consult with families nationally and internationally. I provide a 2 week bespoke programme and address all aspects of sleep issues, with 1:1 ongoing support to be there for your family every step of the way.
The areas I can support you in are wide ranging and as follows:-
-not settling at night
-not napping / cat napping
-continues to come out of the bed
-transitioning to big bed
-twins and duplicates
-ditching the dummy.
My techniques are really gentle and reassuring; using an evidential, non-judgmental, person-centred approach.
It’s really important for little ones to have good restorative sleep and the quality of sleep is essential for so many reasons to grow, maintain memory and improve immunity. We all know sleep is the foundation to a safe and happy life – the key to regaining balance and harmony. So, if you are struggling with your child’s sleep challenges; if your dreading bedtime and it has become chaotic, and you real feel you need some guidance on anything at all associated with Sleep or lack of it then please, pick up the phone for a free, friendly 15 minute chat with me today.
Together we can sort any issue you are currently facing – look forward to hearing from you. Heidi xxx
This is for families who want to implement a sleep plan independantly and require information only (additional support calls can be added as required)

Waking Up After Only 1 Hour...
Firstly I purchased the sleep nanny system book after a recommendation from Heidi, I put it in to action straight away and after 2 week we were getting somewhere but then my little boy was poorly with cold, teething then on top of that he had his last set of injections which he then became very unsettled once again. He would settle as soon as he went up to bed but would only last 1 hour and wake so unsettled then wake up a few more times during the night. So after speaking with Heidi and her telling me that she is training as a sleep nanny I decided to to ahead with her and we drew up a sleep plan.
Now my little one goes down an we have only 1 wake round 5am but we can settle him back down and he will sleep till 7/8am. We are almost there with him but Heidi also helped with weaning him off his night feed so we have no more night feeds. The book is a God send as you can also refer back to it for hints and tips as well as contact Heidi with any question you have via phone call, email or Facebook messenger. She is always there to help and her knowledge and advice is professional in this field, if I hadn’t of seeked help when I did I wouldn’t be going back to work in July.

1 Year Old Refuses To Go In Her Cot!
I can’t recommend Heidi enough!! She has been such a support for myself and my husband over the last few weeks.
Our daughter Ava is 1 and has always been cuddled and rocked to sleep. Which was fine as a baby but it had progressed into a problem where she refused to go in her cot at all so we had to wait until she was deeply asleep. This meant nighttime wake ups could last two or three hours!
Heidi was so amazing right from the start and immediately made me feel like I could talk to her and had a friend rather than someone I had just contacted for help!
She put a great plan into place for Ava and was there through the tears of frustration and the joy of finally making progress! Any time I needed a boost or some words to keep me going she was there.
She made the whole process of the two week plan so much better.
Ava now sleeps in her own cot and we can put her down as soon as bedtime routine is over. We still have a little way to go to get her to settle herself entirely but this is purely due to circumstance and Heidi is still there for me whenever I need….
Honestly one of the nicest people and supportive sleep nanny I have ever spoken to!!!!

First Time Mum
Heidi is fantastic. I first contacted Heidi as I was worried about making first time mum parenting mistakes (something I think every first time mum worries about). Zachary was only 16 weeks old but we had started introducing a routine and putting him to bed at 7pm but my husband and I were up and down about 10 times before 10pm and he was waking multiple times over night, and understandably it was causing tension in our relationship. Heidi was fantastic she guided us through every step to help him start to self settle, she made me feel human and actually really capable as a mum which is an amazing thing to be able to do. She helped us with overnight settling and gave me advice on feeding and day time naps. Within a couple of days we were having dinner together downstairs and Zachary was sleeping through from 7 until we gave him a dream feed about 10pm. Heidi also went above and beyond and helped me when we ended up at the doctors as Zachary wasn’t very well. She gave me advice on what to say and kept me calm. To say working with Heidi has changed my journey as a mum is an understatement she has given me a confidence that I am good mum and given me the skills to give Zachary the best start in life. She is thoughtful and knowledgeable and I firmly believe can help anyone who is willing to listen and follow the plan, as hard as it is at times. Zachary now goes to bed at 7, we are still dream feeding him at 11 but he only wakes up once from that time until between 6-7am but he’s only 18 weeks old. I feel confident that if I remain consistent he will very soon get results and I can’t wait until I can tell Heidi this news. Thank you for everything you are amazing and have helped Zachary and my husband and I more than you can imagine. 😊😊😊
