Hi, I’m Nicole and I am a mum of 1 and live in Greater Manchester, however, I can help parents from all over the world.
If you are looking on my page, the chances are, I have been where you are. The parent to the child that never seems to sleep, unless she was on me of course, and even then, the slightest noise would wake her. I dreaded a knock at the door or someone ringing the doorbell.
I was the mum who used to envy all the other mums at baby groups that talked about how great their baby slept. I was the mum that everyone felt sorry for and was giving me all their tips on how they got their baby to sleep, but for my girl, nothing worked.
Don’t get me wrong, she wasn’t an unhappy baby, if anything, everyone used to comment on how happy she was, and she still is the happiest little girl going, she just never slept.
She was rocked to sleep, fed to sleep, sang to sleep and she even had a dummy. I spent hours walking around the same park to get her to sleep, even at 6am in the rain, but she was up for hours at a time in the night and only slept on me or in the pram in the day – oh, and the pram had to be moving or she would wake up.
There just came a point, probably the same point you are at now, or you wouldn’t be on my page, where you realise something has to be done.
My relationship was suffering, I couldn’t think straight, I was getting ill and life was generally just hard.
Sleep deprivation is a form of torture for a reason. It is one of the biggest contributors to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-natal depression in new mums.
I tried everything to get her to sleep but nothing worked.
Then a friend recommended The Sleep Nanny® to me, and that changed everything.
In the first week, my little girl slept through the night 3 times, it was like a miracle had taken place.
Don’t get me wrong, sleep is not solved in a night, but with the right tools and support, it can be changed quickly and without the need for letting your baby cry it out.
I was then fortunate enough to get the chance to train to become a sleep consultant. I am now lucky enough to help other families that have been where I was, and see their life change like mine did.
I am here to tell you, don’t suffer in silence. Whether you come to me for help, or seek other methods, make sure you get the help.
I have spent many years working with people encouraging them look after their every day health, as I believe that we must look after ourselves to be able to look after the people around us.
Sleep deprivation can affect so many aspects of your daily life, from relationships breaking down, clumsiness, forgetfulness and even peoples job can be at risk. With most children overtiredness can effect their behaviour and leave you thinking you have a naughty child, when in most cases, they are just exhausted.
By getting support and making the right changes, you may find you have a child that is much happier in day to day life, you may have a partner who you remember you like being around, and you may also find your ‘baby brain’ isn’t playing as big a part in your daily life anymore.
I have helped multiple families move on from co-sleeping, helped babies who were being fed to sleep to fall asleep without the need for their crutch, toddlers who thought been awake for 18 hours a day was OK, children who were waking in the night screaming like they are involved in a nightmare.
Generally, I have helped families get their life back, regardless of what the sleep problem was.
There are numerous other reasons why families struggle to help their little one sleep, but I am here to help rectify this and bring back peace and harmony to your household, (well, at least as peaceful as having children can be).

What Parents Say
Nicole helped us so much with our 21 month old daughter. From birth, she never slept for more than 40 minutes a time until the first night we worked with Nicole. Nicole made a fantastic personalized sleep plan after having our initial discussions about our daughter and what her routine and lack of sleep pattern was like. From the first night of the new routine with this amazing guidance, support and encouragement, Our daughter slept. She slept in her own bed, in her own room and now 4 weeks on, she still sleeps 12 hours a night. amazing, we have a whole different life now. i am no longer a zombie mum who had not slept in nearly 2 years and our daughter loves going to bed at 7pm now. she happily gets into bed. Nicole has been amazing to help our whole family as our daughters lack of sleep did effect us all in the house. We can not praise Nicole enough for how she has enabled us to get our little girl to sleep each night. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has problems with their child sleeping.
